Five uni­que per­for­mers – voguers – five bio­gra­phies on one cat­walk. “Like, real­ly cunt” cele­bra­tes the femi­ni­ne ener­gy that tran­s­cends bio­lo­gi­cal bodies. Bodies that are poli­ti­cal in their very exis­tence. This is a play­ground and a ball­room; playful, tole­rant – and flam­boy­ant. Invent yours­elf, be wha­te­ver you want to be, and you will be seen! “Like, real­ly cunt” is a par­ty in para­di­se. A DJ* will accom­pa­ny the evening and the dancers will rock the stage – and tell their per­so­nal bio­gra­phies: Vogu­e­ing is abo­ve all storytelling.\nCho­reo­grapher Mar­je Hir­vo­nen works with five dancers from the vogue sce­ne. They bring their artis­tic per­so­na­li­ties and the move­ment ele­ments of voguing with them – and let us par­ti­ci­pa­te in a cul­tu­re that emer­ged in New York Har­lem in the 1970s. Inspi­red by cat­walk and model ges­tu­res, vogue is not only a sophisti­ca­ted dance style; with and around voguing, que­er peo­p­le of colour deve­lo­ped their own cul­tu­re in which ever­yo­ne can live out their (gen­der) iden­ti­ty free­ly: a safe space, a paradise.\nThe cen­tral ele­ment is the ball­room, whe­re voguers meet pro­tec­ted from dis­cri­mi­na­ti­on and dance tog­e­ther – or in batt­les against each other.\n\nDeut­sche Version\nDie­se Ver­an­stal­tung fin­det in Deutsch /Englisch statt. \n„Like, real­ly cunt“ ist ein geschütz­ter Raum, eine Zusam­men­kunft, eine Par­ty und ein Cat­walk.
